These artisanal soap bars are all handmade by Helen in Edinburgh and have completely plastic free, and extremely beautiful, packaging. To be used in the shower in place of gel, in the bath or by your bathroom basin. Dook soaps will leave your skin feeling cleansed, fresh and moisturised.

Cedar and Bitter Orange - sharply citrus and woodsy at once with spiced warm undertones. Grounding and calming and dare we say it - a little bit sexy?!
Bergamot, Juniper & Rose Geranium - A balancing act. Fresh and delicious with a touch of rose geranium for a few soft rounded floral notes. Calming and soothing, never overpowering.
Rosemary and Frankincense - Distinctively patterned Rosemary & Frankincense soaps are infused with an invigorating essential oil blend. With its zingy and fresh herbaceous aroma, this handmade soap strikes the perfect balance: a refreshing scent that is not overpowering. Generously drizzled with charcoal these bars clean and clarify your pores without leaving your skin feeling dry.
With it's frankincense, this beautiful soap makes an ideal Christmas gift - a perfect stocking filler for men or women or a Secret Santa gift.
Worked into a rich lather, this soap also works brilliantly as a shaving bar.
Key ingredients:
Himalayan Salt
Like all dook salt soaps, 50% of its weight is made up of Himalayan pink salt. This incredible ingredient is packed full of skin loving trace minerals that are known for their detoxifying, exfoliating and rejuvenating skin support.
Organic Coconut Oil
Famous for its cleansing abilities, coconut oil is the special ingredient that enables a soap so salty to have a wonderful lather. It’s the coconut oil that generates that smooth lotion-like foam.
Raw Organic Shea Butter
Shea butter is a wonderful moisturising ingredient, in its raw form it also contains vitamins A, E and F which are great for boosting skin health and minerals which are known for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory qualities. A superfood for your skin.
French Pink clay (Cedar and Bitter Orange)
A natural skin decongestant and purifier. Pink clay, is a mixture of Illite and Kaolin clays is brilliant for absorbing excess oils and removing impurities from your pores.
French green clay (Bergamot, Juniper & Rose Geranium)
A natural skin decongestant and purifier. Green clay, also known as bentonite clay and montmorillonite, is brilliant for absorbing excess oils and removing impurities from your pores.
Activated Charcoal (Rosemary and Frankincense) The swirl of charcoal grey through your bar adds a classy touch and so much more: the charcoal is "activated" by steam processing it at very high temperatures. The high temperatures change its internal structure, reducing the size of its pores and increasing its surface area. This means that each grain of charcoal in your soap absorbs more toxins and impurities from your skin, preventing your body from absorbing them.

There's no place for plastic at Dook - all soaps are sold in boxes made from recycled coffee cups. 100% recycled and recyclable.
Handmade and unique - the weight of the soap can vary by a few grams, and the designs will naturally differ per bar.

Lather the soap between your hands and wash with the thick luxurious foam.
If you like to apply soap directly to your skin consider putting the soap inside a cotton soap bag to protect sensitive parts from the salt grains.

UK Delivery
- We offer free Royal Mail/Parcel Force Tracked 48-hour tracked postage (2-3 business days) on all curated boxes.
- Design Your Own gift boxes will have a charge of £4 for postage or £2.50 if letterbox sized.
- Boxes will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked or Parcel Force (2-3 business days) unless an express option is selected.
- If the value of the parcel is under £20, it will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class service unless an express shipping option is selected.
- If you need your gift more urgently please choose ‘Express’ where we can send it via the Royal Mail or Parcel Force Tracked 24 service. Packages usually arrive on the next business day using this service.
- Orders placed before 3 pm (Monday-Thursday) will be dispatched the following day or on the same day when possible.
- Orders placed Friday-Sunday will be dispatched on Monday.
International Shipping
We are always happy to accommodate international orders, please contact us before placing your order at tangledrootsgifts@gmail.com with your requirements and we will send you available shipping options for your destination. Please note that when sending parcels internationally there may be a charge incurred for the recipient when they are delivered/collected.

- All orders and gift boxes are delivered in eco-friendly, fully recycled, and recyclable postal boxes.
- Our shredded paper is made from 100% recycled paper and is fully biodegradable and recyclable. It is FSC certified.
- Our wood wool is FSC certified and is untreated and fully compostable and biodegradable.
- Our packaging tape is made from reinforced kraft paper and a water-activated adhesive.
- Packaging padding materials are reused and recyclable.
